MatrixTechnique Seminare by SophiaMatrix

3-Dimensional Health

  • Deep, manual massage of the fascial tissue in combination with
  • reactivation of the lymph flow
  • Improvement of the supply and disposal of all cells
  • Release of fascial adhesions
  • Detoxification and elimination of toxins
  • Modulation of the immune system (ImmunSymbiosis)
  • Holistic technique
  • Release of emotional traumas and energetic blockages
  • Restructuring of water (4th phase of water)
  • Optimization of biophoton flow

A kind of spatial health can be formed, which enables optimal detoxification, supply and further development of each cell.

Thus we achieve more freedom on all levels – physical, energetic, mental and spiritual.

Since 2014, the MatrixTechnique according to HP Ariane Zappe complements the concept of ImmunSymbiosis with a deep, manual method.

The extracellular matrix can restructure itself, adhesions and blockages can be released.

Since most toxins and infections, as well as our mental traumas are stored in the connective tissue, this deep, manual work is an indispensable step.

ONE organ

An organ with access to every cell

Connective tissue, fascia and lymph form a single, holistic network in the body – as the largest organ in the human body, it has been very much neglected.

MatrixTechnique is a manual – that is, performed only with hands and without equipment – deep connective tissue, fascia and lymphatic treatment of the whole body.

Connective tissue

99% of toxins and infections are stored in loose connective tissue.
The MatrixTechnique aims to release, detoxify and eliminate these stored toxins, infections and mental traumas.

Although the term “fascia” has not yet been uniformly defined, most publications refer to compacted and highly structured connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, aponeuroses, sheaths of muscles, joints, organs, and the inner lining of visceral body cavities, such as the peritoneum.

Loose connective tissue and fascia form the basic structure for optimal lymph flow. With the MatrixTechnique we try to reorganize this basic structure and thereby improve the flow of lymph through the body.

Inseparable – connective tissue | fascia | lymph

Connective tissue

Only recently has connective tissue and fascia research (the terminology is handled very differently) recognized that our connective tissue is not simple filler, but a holistic network that has its own intelligence and consciousness as ONE organ, similar to the nervous system or cardiovascular system.

It can transmit mechanical impulses at the speed of sound and distributes the load of manual interventions over the entire structure. Within 20 minutes, the connective tissue restructures itself and thus reacts to every change in posture and every influence from outside and inside in a balancing way.

Recent research is based on what is known as a tensegrity model, a combination of building blocks that resist compression, like our bones, and connections that transmit tensile forces, in our case the connective tissue. A load is immediately distributed throughout the system.

Fasciae are fibrous, compacted connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, tendon plates, sheaths of muscles, joints, organs, as well as linings of body cavities such as the peritoneum. They run throughout the body in various myofascial chains, first described by Tom Myers, and provide stability and elasticity.

If a part of a chain is shortened, e.g. due to a scar or tension, this immediately affects the entire body structure.

The MatrixTechnique therapist takes these fascial chains into account in his work and can help improve posture, body structure and related symptoms.

The aim is to achieve a balance between elasticity and tension.

Lymphatic system

The lymph forms the connection between the smallest blood vessels, the capillaries, and the cells. Every cell is supplied with nutrients, oxygen and messenger substances via the lymph. Likewise, each cell disposes of its metabolic waste products, messenger substances, acid, toxins and infections via the lymph.

Loose connective tissue and fascia form the basic structure in which the lymph can flow.

The connective tissue transmits the nutrients, immune substances, hormones, oxygen, etc. required by the cells from the bloodstream to the cell through the basic substance or lymph, and carries the metabolic waste products of the cells. In addition, the connective tissue, as an overflow, buffers any stress in the form of overeating, such as protein fattening (especially milk protein), toxins or infections from the bloodstream, stores or provides for their disposal through the lymphatic system.

The aim of the MatrixTechnique is to organize this basic structure and improve the lymphatic flow.

Thus, our health depends significantly on the condition of the connective tissue, fascia and lymph flow -and it is precisely this spatial health that we try to positively influence manually with the MatrixTechnique.

Congestion prevents evolution

Lymphatic congestion

Paracelsus: “There is only one disease – congestion”.

If the lymph is congested by acid, too much animal protein, gluten, infections, toxins, adhesions in the connective tissue (e.g. due to scars or psychological trauma), the following symptoms or clinical pictures can arise:

  • Overweight (often more congested lymph than fat!)
  • Cellulite
  • Lymphedema, lipolymphedema, lipedema
  • Heart problems
  • Respiratory disease
  • Skin diseases
  • Deformities
  • Fibromyalgia
  • scar adhesions
  • joint complaints, arthrosis, rheumatism
  • Back pain
  • heel spur, hallux
  • headache, migraine
  • Tinnitus
  • Diabetes
  • Hormonal disorders
  • Infertility
  • Thyroid problems
  • Period pain
  • Irritable bladder / prostate problems
  • Cancer

Radical edema – a lymphatic congestion in the posterior abdominal cavity

In the MatrixTechnique, we start working deep in the abdomen. The intestine as a central organ often forms an initial congestion in its lymphatic drainage area. In 1988, Dr. Weiss coined the term radix edema, which is a central congestion in the posterior abdomen that begins to displace the bowel.

We find radix edema in 9 out of 10 patients. It is essential to look at the parasites, which are “irritated” during manual intervention in the abdomen. With ART, it must be clarified whether and to what extent parasite treatment is necessary at the same time.

In addition, most fascial cords run through the lumbar beriech, which tighten in radix edema under lack of oxygen and nutrients. It is not for nothing that we find most herniated discs and back problems in this area. Releasing the abdomen not infrequently brings great relief to the back.

Many scars additionally affect the abdomen … adhesions after appendectomy, cesarean section, hysterectomy, hernia surgery, umbilical adhesions, piercings, etc. absolutely must be released.

In women, the congestion often forms deeper in the pelvis, so that as a result the legs are congested. Riding pants, varicose veins, ankle edema, knee or hip problems can be the result. Here we work taking into account the courses of the fascial strands and give the connective tissue the opportunity to restructure itself.

A central congestion in the abdomen can also have cranial effects, lifting the diaphragm and the rib cage, leading to breathing difficulties or heart problems. The rib cage is lifted, which must be held in the neck by consolidations in the connective tissue.

Connective tissues in the neck may be so solidified that drainage from the head is disrupted. The result can be an increase in intracranial pressure with headaches or various failures, as well as lack of detoxification of the brain. Migraine, tinnitus, neurological symptoms, MS can experience improvement.

Here, too, we loosen adhesions and consolidations along the fascial strands, on the neck, throat and back and give the connective tissue the chance of a new structure.

Solve the congestion

A complete MatrixTechnique treatment

Depending on the severity of the symptoms, 2 to 3 treatments are initially performed within 2 to 4 weeks. This often significantly improves the lymph flow and the structure of the connective tissue, allowing the body to regulate itself again and continue on the path towards healing.

More treatment appointments may be necessary for severe and long-lasting symptoms.

Prophylactically, we recommend a MatrixTechnique treatment every 6 months to eliminate new lymphatic accumulations and connective tissue adhesions before symptoms develop.

The use of the MatrixTechnique must be carefully considered in the following cases:

  • Lymphatic cancer, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
  • Tumor diseases, risk of metastasis
  • Disturbed pain sensation in diabetes mellitus
  • Taking medication, e.g. blood thinners
  • Varicose veins, danger of embolism
  • Infections, e.g. herpes, HIV to protect the therapist
  • Patients with heart and lung diseases (keep head higher)
  • In case of open wounds
  • Detoxification disorders
  • Liver insufficiency
  • Implants, e.g. breast implants

The MatrixTechnique must NOT be used in the following cases:

  • Pregnancy and lactation
  • Fever
  • Brittle bone disease (osteogenesis imperfecta)
  • aortic aneurysm
  • directly after operations, bone fractures
