I was born in Newcastle, England, but live in Bavaria, Germany since 1984. I am married, have 3 daughters and work since 1974 as an office administrator. In 2013 I completed an intensive course as a care worker, because I was always interested in health care without having to learn a lot about conventional medicine. In the last years I was able to practice both occupations together in different health institutes.
I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Kaufbeuren. I have worked for over two decades in local public administration, with over ten years served in the environmental offices. During this time, I gained deep knowledge of the various environmental stresses the human body has to endure in everyday life. In 2010 I became a patient of Ariane Zappe and after successful therapy, wanted to know more. I studied under Ariane and now I work at the clinic practicing SophiaMatrix@ technique. I suppose I’m a sort of “poster girl” – someone that was so impressed with the treatment and results that I wanted to do the same for others. As a mother and a “people person”, I derive huge personal satisfaction and fulfilment from helping SophiaHealth patients find their way back to a healthier life.
10 years as a paramedic form the basis of my medical education. But rescue operations usually happen under time pressure and with little time for the individual patient. At the SophiaHealth Institute, I can finally take the time I want and consider important for my patient. A wonderful way to deal with people.
I was a nurse in Kosovo for more than 10 years. After a couple of years my family and I spend in Italy we finally moved to Germany. In Kosovo, nurses have a much broader working domain and take over huge responsibility. Now, working at SophiaHealth in Kaufbeuren, I can finally offer all my experience to be part of the process. After all, working with patients is what I always wanted. A special challenge are patients with fear of needles, who finally relax and come back the next day with even more confidence.
I love to be around people, especially in the warm and healthy atmosphere of SophiaHealth. Working with Ariane for 10 years now, I dedicate a lot of my time and energy to support the vision we all share.
Cookie is with us since 2014 and from day one has won the hearts of our patients, especially the children. I had Cookie with me on a seminar with Dr. Klinghardt once, and it was her who pointed to the most problematic areas of the patients, a very touching experience! In June 2018, Cookie became proud mommy of 9 puppies, the smallest and weakest being Nellie. We fought for life after birth for an hour, before we heard her first weak whimper. It was obvious, she would never leave us again. She now accompanies us on some days to support her mom’s mission.
